Taking care of yourself...naturally!

Natural, organic face care

Jojoba Oil is the perfect face cleanser and moisturizer. It is suitable for all skin types, moisturising dry skin and easing the oil production in oily skin. It provides all day moisturisation as it doesn’t evaporate like other water based moisturisers can and provides a protection barrier for your skin against the elements. Jojoba Oil can help control acne and oily skin due to its ability to dissolve excess sebum, and may actually combine with sebum to unclog pores due to its emulsifying properties. You can either mix a few drops in your moisturiser or use it sparingly on its own as per below. Sweet Almond Oil and Rosehip Oil provide that extra boost for your skin.

Skin conditioning facial for all skin types

For normal skin and combination skin it is recommended you do this once a week and for times when you skin may feel a little dryer you might like to do this twice a week. For dry, mature or oily skin it is recommended you do this twice a week.

To treat your face to a skin conditioning facial:

1. Cleanse your face well with warm water

2. Soak a face cloth in clean warm water, squeeze out the excess water and hold against your face, gently massaging your skin through the face cloth for 2 minutes to help open your pores.

3. Pat dry with a clean towel

4. Pour 6 - 10 drops of either Jojoba Oil for normal skin, combination skin or oily skin or Rosehip Oil for dry or mature skin, into the palm of your hand and gently massage into your skin with your finger tips.

Extra daily nourishment when needed for normal, combination, dry and mature skin

Your skin requirements change depending on the environment, time of year and your activities. It is recommended that when your skin feels as though it needs extra nourishment apply Rosehip Oil once or twice during the day as needed.

Eye area

Jojoba Oil can be safely used around the eye area to help reduce fine lines.

Gently dab a small amount around eye area.

Lip Balm

Gently apply a small amount of Jojoba Oil to your lips and allow to soak in before eating or drinking.

Makeup remover

Jojoba Oil removes most makeup and cleans clogged pores. Instead of using a harsh make-up remover that dries your skin out, as well as being an effective make-up remover, Jojoba oil also hydrates and softens the skin around your eyes.

To remove make-up soak a cotton pad or ball, and gently wipe face and eye area then cleanse residue as follows:
Dampening face with warm water, pour a small amount of Jojoba oil into the palm of your hand, rub hands together to disperse oil then gently massage into your face. Rinse with warm water and pat dry with a clean towel.

Acne, acne scars and blackheads

Jojoba Oil has been proven to have healing benefits on the worst types of acne and acne scars. Try rubbing a small drop of jojoba oil onto your face or the affected areas in the morning and/or at night. As well as helping to lubricate your pores to help them be less congested, jojoba oil simulates sebum and helps regulate your normal sebum production.

Skin conditions

Due to its healing power, ability to improve blood circulation and high penetration properties, Jojoba Oil can help in the treatment of a number of skin conditions including psoriasis, dermatitis, eczema, skin inflammation and acne conditions. Jojoba oil is a non-irritant and non-allergic to skin and mucous membrane and has anit-bacterial, anti-inflamatory and anti-oxidant properties. Please seek advice from your doctor.
